RadioRA 2 customers can rejoice. Lutron’s home control system has a few new features that all homeowners could appreciate.
The lighting manufacturer has upgraded the system’s design and programming software to version 4.2.10. That upgrade will add support for the company’s new seeTemp thermostat, as well as the Sivoia QS wireless Venetian Blinds with Intelligent Tilt Alignment system. There’s also a new security mode via RS-232 or IP, as well as new non-system accessories.
By combining RadioRA 2 with the seeTemp thermostat, homeowners can set the temperature from RadioRA 2 keypads, occupancy sensors and contact closure inputs. Users can also save a few bucks by creating thermostat schedules, an Away mode, or adding temperature control to Green buttons.
RadioRA 2 offers energy savings and easy one-button control over lights, shades, temperature, and small appliances. It’s currently scalable to 200 devices, via Lutron’s own Clear Connect wireless, RF technology.
Lutron has also unleashed the Home Control+ App Version 3.1. This gives full functionality to iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices, which includes seeTemp and Venetian blind support and Pico wireless control. Designed for use with the RadioRA 2, HomeWorks QS and HomeWorks system, the new app is available now on iTunes for $19.99.

The woven acoustic screen is now available in a retractable, masking version.
Centralized home control and automation plus boatload of A/V options including dropdown theater screen revitalize 12K-square-foot home.
Should TV manufacturers offer dumbed-down TVs that focus on image quality rather than apps?
Say hello to home control in this high-tech palace, circa 2006.
