If you’re one of the many with Lutron HomeWorks QS, your system just got a lot more interesting. The company just announced plans to start shipping five new components for the system, designed to deliver additional energy savings.

First up is the Dynamic Keypad (pictured). With an MSRP of $1,199, this 4.2-inch color touchscreen is designed to replace multiple keypads around the home. Available in black and white as well as wired and wireless, it can can control lights, shades and A/V.

Next is a Wallbox Power Module, for $840. Doesn’t sound that exciting? Mount it in a 4-gang box in a backroom or utility space, and this piece can control up to six lighting zones via system keypads.

The GRAFIK Eye QS offers room-based control for three, four or six lighting zones. Designed to fit in a 4-gang wallbox, this product is perfect for retrofit applications, since it can be configured with a wired or wireless setup. With a list price ranging from $1,030 to $1,420, the GRAFIK Eye QS can have up to three shade button columns for added functionality.

For $249, you can add in an RF Maestro-style Phase-Adaptive Dimmer, a 600-watt designer-style Maestro dimmer with forward and reverse phase adaptive dimming. Worried about what bulbs to use? This dimmer works well with incandescent, halogen, magnetic and electronic low-voltage, dimmable CFLs and dimmable LEDs.

Last, but certainly not least, Lutron is adding support for Sivoia QS Venetian Blinds to the HomeWorks QS equation. Available in software version 1.3.3 and higher, this allows you to adjust blinds to a preset height and tilt slat, or just control keypads and remotes.

Lutron’s HomeWorks QS system was first introduced in September 2010 at the CEDIA Expo. Using Lutron’s Clear Connect wireless, RF technology, the system offers control of lights, shades and stand-by power from small appliances.
