Lutron Adds RadioRA Controls
Super-sized buttons highlight this update to the classic lighting system.
October 12, 2006 by Rachel Cericola

I have Lutron’s RadioRA system in my house. It is really cool, but sometimes in my groggy sleep (I’ve got a newborn), I just frantically just slap the buttons. Now that Lutron is increasing the size of those buttons, so I might actually be able to find what I want—even in that sleepy haze.

Two new wall-mounted controls are available: one with nine buttons, one with 10. The first has an infrared eye and the latter has raise/lower capabilities.

Three tabletop controllers are available as well, in 5-, 10- or 15-button varieties. Each of those includes the raise/lower feature.

All of the controllers will be available this month. Contact an authorized Lutron dealer/installer to scarf one up.

  • Available this month
  • 5 new master controls
  • Available in tabletop and wall-mounted styles
  • All include all on/off buttons
  • Includes custom engraving
