Is your inner rock god crying out for a new ax? Activision and Logitech are teaming up for new instrument controllers for “Guitar Hero World Tour.”

The game will be available for the Xbox 360, the PS2, PS3 and the Nintendo Wii. Naturally, Logitech, will have something for each of the platforms.

“A few years ago, Logitech refined the consumer steering wheel market with high-end controllers that enhance racing games,” said Bruce Lancaster, VP and general manager of Logitech’s gaming business. “Now we are looking forward to elevating the market for premium music-based video game controllers in a similar fashion.”

Of course, we have no idea how Bruce and the rest of Logitech plans to do that—no additional info was released on the new controllers. However, the company does expect something to be available later this year. “Guitar Hero World Tour” will be ready to rock you this fall.
