Everyone loves a merger, right? They must since there seems to be new ones every day. Today, Logitech has announced that they are acquiring Slim Devices for $20 million.

Slim Devices is the maker of the Squeezebox, a stand-alone Web radio. Recently, the company had announced that they were teaming up with Ruckus for a whole house Web radio. They also have a fancy new product called the Transporter.

Logitech makes computer peripherals, gaming peripherals, MP3 and PC speakers, Web cams, and I guess now—Web radios.

What does this mean for Slim Devices fans? Not a whole lot since the company plans to stay a separate unit. They will just have a much bigger marketing team. Bring on the big bucks!
