Lightolier Introduces True Occupancy Sensing
Increased accuracy, expanded detection range touted for IntelliSight Occupancy Sensor
IntelliSight Occupancy Sensor
February 07, 2007 | by Arlen Schweiger

Lightolier Controls has made available the IntelliSight Occupancy Sensor, which it claims is the world’s first truly intelligent occupancy sensor.

The company says it incorporated multiple technologies so the device does not rely on simple motion detection and produces greater accuracy. The IntelliSight Occupancy Sensors feature a detection range of up to 4,000 square feet from a single passive device. The IntelliSight switches and dimmers, built for universal voltage and many load types, are self-tuning and adaptive to fit multiple applications, according to Lightolier.

The wall-mounted devices are available as two-wire switches and three-wire inductive, incandescent and fluorescent dimmers.
