Did you know that by simply installing new bulbs in your lamps you can give your room a completely new look and personality?
GE is out to prove that point with its new free downloadable iPhone app.
The Mood Cam allows you to snap pictures of indoor environments—your kitchen, living room or anywhere else—and change the mood of the space by sliding the Moodometer tool with your finger. In an instant, you can see your family room go from cozy and warm to vibrant and energetic, for example.
“Our whole effort springs from the idea that consumers ought to be able to experiment, learn and interact with lighting,” says Brian Sroub, chief marketing officer, GE Lighting.
Included in the app is a bulb finder to help you find the right bulb for each fixture to create the desired effect. You can save that list on your iPhone when you go to the store to buy your bulbs.
