Exceptional Innovation’s Lifeware system of home control is all about incorporating strong brands and connecting the homeowner to their A/V, lighting, security, thermostat automation solutions and more. Lifeware’s latest partnership will help give the user greater control over all of those activities.

Lifeware announced it has teamed with Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) to give several RTI remote control devices the ability to serve as the user interface for its entertainment and automation.

RTI controllers now compatible with Lifeware include the T2-C remote, the RK3 in-wall LCD touchpanel, the T4 wireless touchpanel and the T3-V handheld touchscreen.

The RTI devices afford the homeowner greater reach of the Windows Media Center PC-based Lifeware systems, and will contain the full Lifeware graphics library, IR and serial commands. The RTI controllers will also allow for preset Lifeware automation scenes to be triggered by a single press of a button.

Plus, as with the usual RTI suspects, the controllers add sleek-looking form factor to the functionality.
