LG LX9500 LED 3D TV
LG Electronics, the world’s No. 2 TV brand, unveiled the “world’s first” Full LED 3D TV - the LX9500.
The LED-backlit LX9500 is 22.3mm thick and has a 16mm bezel. The 3D TV has a 1080p resolution, 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and 400Hz refresh rate.
The DLNA-ready LX9500 will work will active shutter 3D glasses and has HDMI 1.4 ports, USB 2.0, Wireless AV Link and Skype.
Other LG technologies in the LX9500 include: Pictured Wizard II, Spot Control, Infinite Sound, Clear Voice II and Intelligent Sensor.
The LX9500, which will be available in 47- and 55-inch models, will ship in early May. Reuters reports the 47-inch model will include two pairs of active shutter glasses and will cost $4,134.
One is a subsidiary of DTS, with the other looking to gain traction via Indiegogo.
