The LG60 comes in black and red; no word on whether additional colors will be available.

We’re barely into the New Year, but things are looking pretty happy as far as flat panels to expect this year.
LG just announced the PG60, which must be pretty impressive to have taken this year’s Consumer Electronics Show Best of Innovations prize. This full HD TV promises 1080p resolution, with a nice added bonus of a very cool looking ultra-slim package. It’s got a high-gloss finish and invisible speaker system. Other features include the 30,000:1 contrast ratio, four HDMI inputs, LG’s own TruMotion (120Hz) technology, and preset picture modes for movies, sports and gaming.
It didn’t take the top prize, but the LG60 is no slouch as a CES honoree. It’s got a funky “art nouveau” style, which basically means it comes in colors (or at least two—black and red). It’s also got the 1080p promise, along with a 15,000:1 contrast ratio, automatic optimization, four HDMI inputs, and an Intelligent Sensor so the picture adjusts itself to the room’s lighting.
Sadly, we don’t have release dates or prices, but there are plenty of cool shots of both models in the slideshow.
