The LG SteamWasher has the seal of approval from Energy Star and the AAFA.
It’s not enough to make your laundry smell like fresh rain; it needs to smell fresh of allergens too. That’s why LG just announced the LG SteamWasher—now with Allergiene.
They may not be able to do anything about the pet dander around the house, but the Allergiene cycle claims to cut allergens by 95 percent. It also features another cycle called TrueSteam, which is another allergy fighting method that sounds a lot like giving your dirty clothes a day at the spa. Finally, SteamFresh blasts clothes with 20 minutes of steam so you can spend the time lounging instead of ironing.
Other cycles include SteamWash, ReduceStatic and EasyIron. The LG SteamWasher also has seals of approval from both Energy Star and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA).
LG is releasing the machines in stainless steel, midnight blue, wild cherry red and white. Prices range from $1,399 to $2,699 for the washer unit and $1,199 to $2,699 for the dryer.
