If you’ve been waiting to add mobile access to your home control system, Leviton is about to reward your sloth.
Leviton Security & Automation (formerly HAI by Leviton) just announced plans to cut prices on the company’s apps. The move will bring down the price of the Snap-Link Mobile remote access product family by more than 50 percent.
One Snap-Link Mobile app can control several properties, all without monthly or site license fees. The apps also work with multiple iOS, Android and Kindle Fire devices.
According to Leviton Security & Automation, the original price on all Snap-Link Mobile apps was $49.99. The iOS app is dropping to $24.95, with both the Android and Kindle Fire versions now priced at $19.99.
“Since 1985, Leviton Security & Automation has offered our customers remote access from their mobile devices without monthly service fees, beginning with original touchtone phones to the revolutionary mobile hardware of today,” said Jay McLellan, president of Leviton Security & Automation. “By reducing the price of our fully-featured remote access applications for iOS, Android and Kindle Fire devices, we are further facilitating remote access for every family member.”
Snap-Link Mobile works in conjunction with Leviton Security & Automation’’s Ethernet-enabled security and automation controllers, such as the OmniPro II, Omni IIe, and Omni LTe. It can also be paired with controllers focused on energy management, including the Lumina Pro and the Lumina.
