Typically, you can only charge one portable at a time. If you’re lucky, maybe two. However, most households usually have more than one portable device kicking around. Sure, you could have devices charging up all over the house or you can create one charging station, with Leviton’s new 4-Port USB Charger.

The latest in Leviton’s line of USB Charger Devices, this option has four vertical USB ports and a 4.2-amp charging capacity. That means you can charge up to four portables at once.

It also has a microprocessor and smart chip technology inside. That basically means that the outlet can recognize what type of device is attached, to optimize the charging process.

Leviton has given the 4-Port USB Charger four vertical ports, so there’s plenty of room to squeeze in cables for four devices. No twisting is needed.

The 4-Port USB Charger can fit into any standard wallbox, with a standard wallplate. It can also be multi-ganged with any wiring device.

“At home, work and during travel, it is not uncommon for people to stay connected with multiple electronic devices, which increases the need for a fast and convenient way for charging,” said William Randall, director of product management for Leviton’s residential division. “The Leviton 4-Port USB Charger offers an ideal solution for easy, adapter-free charging to power up multiple devices simultaneously and eliminate clutter for a clean appearance at home and in commercial locations.”

Backed by a five-year limited product warranty, the 4-Port USB Charger is available now in white, ivory, light almond, grey and black. It’s also compatible with Leviton’s entire line of wiring devices and wallplates, as well as the Leviton Mobile Device Station.
