If you’re in the southern Maryland area, you may want to do a little house-hunting this weekend.
On Saturday, April 9, Lennar Homes will be showing off seven new model homes at five of its southern Maryland communities. The locations include Chelsea Manor in Bryans Road, Fieldstone in Laurel, Beechtree in Upper Marlboro, and two new models at St. Charles in White Plains.
All of the models feature Lennar’s Everything’s Included package, which has granite countertops and hardwood floors. However, our favorite feature is definitely the home automation.
This offering has Schlage products pre-installed, allowing homeowners to control various home elements using a web-enabled computer or smartphone. Homeowners can lock and unlock doors, control lighting and thermostats, and check out real-time video feeds.
“Whether it’s saving energy and money by ensuring your lights are off after you’ve left for work or checking in on your teenager or your pets with the live video function, being able to access your home remotely offers a unique peace of mind to any homeowner,” said John White, Lennar’s Maryland division president. “We’re excited to be the only builder offering such an advanced technology solution in each and every one of our Lennar homes.”
Sneak peeks will be going on all weekend. For more information about home tours and other features, check out the Lennar Homes website. The company has installed similar systems in a Las Vegas community.
