Korus M20 Wireless Speaker Can Expand to 4-Speaker Setup
The Bluetooth speaker features WideStage acoustics and SKAA for an extended range.

There are a slew of Bluetooth speaker options out there these days. That’s because the technology makes for endless audio opportunities, allowing users to stream music from any smartphone, tablet or other Bluetooth-enabled device, all without wires.

So how does a company make a Bluetooth speaker stand out? If you’re Core Brands, you make a speaker that’s compact and portable, but can also expand for music throughout the house. That speaker is the Korus M20.

The Korus M20 is a compact, wireless speaker that’s easy to pair with an iPad, iPhone, Android portables, a Mac, a PC, and plenty of other devices. No Wi-Fi connection is needed. Instead, it uses the magic of Bluetooth, so your device can easily find the speaker and start streaming within seconds.

Featuring SKAA technology, the Korus M20 boasts a range of 85 feet indoors and 175 feet outside. Other features include the WideStage acoustic signature for multi-dimensional sound, a built-in microphone for turning the M20 into a speakerphone, and a rubber finish that’s both water- and scratch-resistant.

Of course, the real hook on this tiny speaker option is that it works well alone and with others—at least with other M20s or something from the Korus V-Series line (like the V600 and V400). This allows users to build a system of up to four wireless speakers, for multi-room audio at home or on the go.

It’s also built to travel, because each M20 weighs a mere 1.2 pounds and is small enough to fit into a bag or backpack.

“We designed the M20 for people who want it all—outstanding sound quality with no-lag performance for music, videos and games, mobile-friendly design, and the flexibility to create a multi-speaker system for one or more rooms,” said Brett Faulk, executive director of strategic products at Core Brands, LLC. “The Korus M20 is the first mobile speaker that bridges today’s Bluetooth wireless with next generation SKAA wireless audio, for people who need more from a personal speaker than what is currently on the market.”

Promising up to 17 hours of continuous play, the M20 comes bundled with a carrying case, a USB power adapter, a USB charging cable, and a USB Baton audio transmitter. It will start shipping this fall, with an MSRP of $199.
