Klipsch Debuts New Pair of Over-Ear Headphones
The Status is constructed from the same durable material used in high-end eyewear.

Klipsch has been cranking out a variety of headphone products over the years. The company has a really nice selection, if you like the teeny-tiny in-ear options. However, some people still love to have their ears surrounded by sound. For those listeners out there, Klipsch is introducing the Status.

The Status is a new pair of noise-isolating, over-ear headphones. It features the same durable material used in high-end eyewear, in black and white finishes. That Grilamid TR material is good for the outer shell, but the ear cups are lined with high-density memory foam for a comfy fit and a perfect seal around the ear.

Klipsch is packing the Status with two detachable cloth cables. One of those has a three-button mic and remote for use with iOS devices. Designed to fit any device with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, the Klipsch Status also has 40mm drivers, collapsible ear cups and a travel case.

“This Klipsch Status presents the ideal blend of sound quality, comfort and portability for music enthusiasts who prefer an over-ear model,” said Mike Klipsch, president of global operations for Klipsch. “Not only does it serve as a reminder of our industry-leading position in the highly-saturated headphone industry, but the product also highlights our commitment to engineer products that establish a new listening standard.”

Klipsch is selling the Status now, with an MSRP of $249.99.
