It’s never too early to start thinking spring. Or at least think about adding audio to your home’s outdoor area.
British loudspeaker manufacturer KEF has us thinking about spending time outdoors with its Ventura Series line of speakers that’s now available.
The series features three models that range from $250 to $500 per pair—the Ventura 4 ($250), Ventura 5 ($300) and Ventura 6 ($400). All of them include a mounting bracket that allows for up to 180-degree rotation so you can have flexibility with the location and placement in your exterior. They also give you brass inserts to use with aftermarket mounting systems.
Don’t worry about how the weather will affect the Venturas, as KEF designed them with weather-resistant sealed ABS composite enclosures that are also UV treated. Bracket and grilles are powder-coated, rustproof aluminum, and on the interior the aluminum dome tweeter is also anodized to withstand elements.
Along with the tweeter, the Venturas feature a long-throw woofer with injection molded cone and rubber surround for a two-way design that offers plenty of sound coverage for your outdoor space, whether it’s on a patio or deck, or even for your boat. So don’t worry if you’ve been digging out of snowstorms for the past month, spring is on its way and your outdoors can have more than just birds providing the tunes.
