Gotham’s JL Audio-engineered switching amplifier can drive 3,800 watts of clean output.
Holy subwoofer, Batman! JL Audio just announced that they are shipping their Gotham subwoofer to dealers all over the world.
The company’s self-proclaimed “mother of all subs” has a pair of 13.5-inch subwoofer drivers, packing amp abilities to power up to 3,800 watts of RMS output. The woofers each have a whopping 4-inch peak-to-peak excursion envelope. That’s enough to blow gadgets clean off any utility belt.
If only Barry White were alive to test this sub out. Oh baby… Also, we could use his help carrying it too; this solid beast stands over 34 inches tall and weighs 360 pounds.
Other features include a slew of signal processing features, which can all be accessed on the front via a backlit master level knob.
Super subwoofer powers don’t run cheap though; the Gotham is available now for $11,000.
