JBL is taking speaker shells to a new level.

The company’s new Control NOW line hugs the wall creating omnidirectional love for audiophiles with an eye for design.

The standard Control NOW works indoors, with the Control NOW AWs designed to withstand the outside elements. Both have the 90-degree design, boasting a slew of installation possibilities—as well as a definite “wow” factor.

Each unit features a 3/4-inch tweeter and a pair of 4-inch woofers. The company says that the drivers are mounted behind a curved quarter-round front section, and the rear of the enclosure has three angled sections that enable the speakers to be corner-mounted between a ceiling and wall or between two walls.

Even cooler, you can link together units for all kinds of funky, curvy speaker creations. Standard hardware is included, but there are ceiling brackets and floor stands also available.

JBL’s Control NOW speakers are available in black for $249 each. The AW line is coming later this month in white, for an extra $30 each.
