PC gamers get a pretty realistic gaming experience as it is, but if they’re looking to enter the world of 3D gaming, they can immerse themselves with a new 22-inch monitor that hits the spot.

Stereoscopic 3D visualization developer iZ3D has announced that its 22-inch 3D monitor and display products will be available nationwide in January at Fry’s and Micro Center stores, plus retail and etail locations like Staples Online, NewEgg, Amazon, Critical Buy and others.

Here’s some info on the 3D monitor solution:

Look for the monitor nationwide on January 9 for $399. You can grab it now in select locations in California, Arizona and Nevada.

According to iZ3D, the solution works with Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Vista operating systems, games written for DirectX 8, 9, (and soon 10), and requires a graphics card with 2 video outputs (VGA, DVI, or HDMI). The company points to www.3drulez.com as a place to check for special offers, products and customer testers.

It might not be a 100-inch home theater screen solution, but 22 inches of 3D display are bound to suck you further into those PC game worlds.
