iRobot’s Looj Cleans Gutters Good
The robotic vacuum maker is putting its metal behind a device that will clean the gunk around your rooftop.

Here’s one less reason for me to fear my husband falling off our roof: iRobot’s Looj.

Sure iRobot might get the prize for the world’s worst product name, and that includes all of those ones that are just letters and digits. Heck, even Kohono over at Gizmodo has a better name in the “Goomba.”

Engadget says the Looj “has two treads, a remote control, and a strange looking ‘distruptor / ejector / sweeper’ auger assembly for clearing out the drains.” Now if only it could look for lost Frisbees as well.

That’s still a possibility though; official iRobot announcements aren’t being made until the end of September.
