IOGEAR understands that we’re an on-the-go society. Portable devices are everywhere, and the Irvine, CA-based company has added its own, having announced its ultra-slim Portable Media Player.

The player lets you easily transfer files from a PC or laptop from a USB port, so you can carry all of your digital music, movies and photos with you to have at the ready.

It upscales standard-definition video playback to 720p resolution when connected to an HDTV, attached through an RCA or component connection.

The Portable Media Player can store up to 34,000 photos, 30,000 MP3s, 3,000 uncompressed CD-quality songs, nine hours of digital video or 50 hours of DVD-quality video, according to IOGEAR.

Look for the device, which comes with a one-year warranty and is compatible with Windows 2000, XP and Vista computers, at catalog and online resellers and select retail outlets for $349.95.
