Interactive, Wi-Fi Christmas Lights Offer Millions of Color Choices
Smart-phone controllable LED lights let you get creative
December 04, 2013 by Lisa Montgomery

Although they’re being promoted as smart, interactive, smart-phone controllable Christmas lights, MooresCloud’s new colored strings of lights offer a fun, festive way to decorate for any holiday. Drape them over the doorway to greet carolers, wap them around the banister, or weave them around the branches of a Christmas tree. You can choose from more than 16 million different colors, so these lights can create scenes for non-holiday occasions, too. Pick out the colors of your favorite team to for a Superbowl party or make them flicker like candles for a dinner party.

In addition to being extremely versatile, the Holiday by MooresCloud lights, which comprise 50 LED globes on a 7-meter string, are said to be a breeze to operate. Included with the lights is an app that lets you create a variety of effects from the convenience of a smartphone, tablet or web browser. One of the scenes includes a timer, so you can choose when to have the lights turn on and off.
You can buy a string of lights in time for your festivities for $199 (oops, they appear to be sold out).
