For those of you that have a TiVo or some other digital video recorder, you know there’s no turning back. So how can you upgrade to HD to accommodate that huge, pricey TV you’ve scrimped and saved for?

TiVo recently announced their high-def unit, and now Interact-TV has something to entice Linux fans. The MyTellyHD is a compact Linux-based Media Center that includes high-definiton 720p component video output, gigabit Ethernet and upscaling of all video and DVDs to full HD resolution.

Starting from $899, MyTellyHD delivers all the features and functionality you have come to expect from a media server, including a subscription-free digital video recorder (DVR), Video Library with save DVD capabilities as well as Music and Photo Libraries. 

MyTellyHD incorporates many new features including 720p component video output, gigabit Ethernet, a high performance processor, and all new MPEG-2 video encoding.

I can’t find any reviews for Interact-TV’s products.
I’m a subscriber and would love to see a review article about the video and audio quality of their media servers. Particularly, the T2 media server.
