The ever-present iPod can make for a great home jukebox when it’s hooked up to a stereo system. California-based IntelliTouch wants you to stream your thousands of songs throughout your home rather than just one room via its Eos iPod docking station.

Using “Wi-Fi friendly” technology, the Eos can link up to four individual stereo wireless speakers for interference-free, high-quality sound that can be transmitted up to 150 feet indoors and over 300 feet outdoors, the company says.

IntelliTouch incorporated SRS WOW audio and bass enhancement technology from SRS Labs for restoring detail and clarity to digitally compressed audio and immersive sound from stereo speakers, the company adds.

The Eos core system comes with a docking station/transmitter, infrared remote control and one wireless stereo speaker at an MSRP of $299. Additional speakers are available separately for $149.
