Integra’s DTR-5.9 is about to kick your A/V up a notch.

Instead of the measly two HDMI inputs of its predecessor, the DTR-5.9 throws in another two HDMI connections (for a total of four), 1080i upscaling via Faroudja, and Audyssey’s new Dynamic EQ loudness compensation technology.

“The DTR-5.9 ups the ante with the ability to handle more HDMI sources, improved video scaling capabilities, and improved performance at moderate listening levels thanks to Audyssey Dynamic EQ technology,” says Keith Haas, Integra’s director of sales. “Like all Integra products, it features a class-leading set of integration and control features designed specifically for custom installation, making it easier for dealers and installers to cut job time, reduce customer call-back issues, and improve their bottom line.”

Other features include decoding for DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, and Dolby Digital Plus lossless and high resolution audio formats—all over a single HDMI connection. The DTR-5.9 also has a seven-channel amplifier section rated at 90 Watts per channel into 8 ohms, and 110 Watts into 6 ohms.

The Integra DTR-5.9 is available exclusively via authorized installers, for $800.
