One of Infinity’s three new wireless subs, the PSW310W features a 400-watt amp.
Subwoofer placement can often lead to a little trial and error. Infinity wants to make things a little easier, by making the whole process wireless.
The company just announced three new wireless subwoofers. That makes placement a whole lot easier, eliminating the need for wires from the A/V receiver or other audio source.
The PSW310W ($1,199) includes a 400-watt amplifier, a 10-inch woofer, and dual 10-inch CMMD passive radiators. The PS212W ($679) has the same amp, with a 12-inch woofer. The PS210W ($549) has a 300-watt amp and a 10-inch MMD woofer. Each one includes a compact transmitter unit, which uses the 2.4GHz band to blast boom into your room. The PSW310W throws in Infinity’s own Bass Optimization System technology, which corrects for low-frequency room resonances.
The PSW310W comes in a high-gloss-black or cherry-wood-veneer finish; the other two have a black-ash finish. All three of the models are currently shipping.
