There are so many available AV devices, it can get a little overwhelming—especially inside that equipment rack. In2 Technologies is packing all of those necessary components into the Engage Unity home theater system.
It sort of looks like TV stand. However, Born Rich says that the Engage Unity actually has a Blu-ray player, a 5.1 amp, and a complete sound system all inside one slim unit. If that’s not enough, it does the stand thing too, and can hold up to 60 inches of TV.
If you want a little more audio, the Engage Unity can support a pair of wireless speakers. Heck, you’ll have the room for it!
The sound system includes two 10-inch woofers, two down-firing 5.25-inch midbass drivers in the center channel, and integrated center, left and right channel speakers. Other features include support for 5.1 Dolby and DTS sound, an iPod/iPhone dock, Ethernet connectivity, and a single-wire connection via HDMI 1.4a.
For now, you’re going to have to keep the clutter because the Engage Unity won’t be available until mid-2012. Expect the MSRP to be about $999.
