We are used to iLuv showing much love for the iPod and iPhone, but now the company is getting its claws into the iPad market. Surprised? Well no, but we are pleasantly surprised at the iMM747 as a starting point.
This iPad docking system is pretty sweet looking. It should sound nice too, thanks to jAura soundcell speakers, which packs in a tweeter, a main audio driver, and a built-in radiator subwoofer. The dock also juices up your iPad whenever its docked.
Perfect for the office or as a bedtime companion, the iMM747 allows you to enjoy apps, games, movies and more, all with decent sound. If you haven’t made the leap to an iPad just yet, the flexible 30-pin connector can also accommodate an iPhone or iPod. It also has the good old auxiliary line input, for all of you non-Apple users out there.
Expect the iMM747 to start selling this month, with an MSRP of $149.99.
