iLuv’s iHD171 delivers HD Radio, as well as iTunes Tagging features.
iLuv has been on an i-roll, cranking out plenty of iPod-related options (like this one) over the past year. Before the ball drops, they wanted to squeak in one more: the iHD171.
Of course, the unit won’t actually be available until next month. When it does hit, you can expect it to deliver more than good old static. This unit provides AM/FM access via HD Radio.
It’s not iLuv’s first HD Radio, but it does include everything a digital nerd could want, with a spot for your iPhone 3G and/or iPod. A nifty added bonus is iTunes Tagging, which allows you to snag HD Radio songs for purchase on iTunes later.
Other features include a display for song, station and frequency info, 30 programmable presets, jAura speaker technology, dual alarms, and an auxiliary line input. There are even TV connection capabilities, if you need a middleman for displaying your iPod/iPhone video.
When the iHD171 hits shelves in January, it will retail for $200.

The woven acoustic screen is now available in a retractable, masking version.
Centralized home control and automation plus boatload of A/V options including dropdown theater screen revitalize 12K-square-foot home.
Should TV manufacturers offer dumbed-down TVs that focus on image quality rather than apps?
