iHome’s iH41 twists to allow iPod touch users to view widescreen video.
The iPod add-on has been done to death, but iHome keeps cranking out new ways to dock that little portable. This time, they are putting a new twist—literally—into the category, with the iH41.
Designed specifically for use with the iPod touch, the unit can be flipped so you can view widescreen videos while the unit is docked and charging. Other features include EXBTM expanded bass and Reson8 technology, as well as an LED that can change to match your mood and iPod.
“At iHome, we’re continually striving to create products that offer users new ways to experience and enjoy their iPods,” said Evan Stein, iHome’s VP of marketing. “The artistic design of the iH41 is great for tight spaces, and its smart, hands-free functionality make watching and listening to the iPod more enjoyable than ever before.”
iHome says the unit is also compatible with most other iPod models. It’s available now for $80.
