Just because you have an Electronic House doesn’t necessary mean that you have a ginormous lawn. However, you can still cram a little technology into that small, outdoor space. Husqvarna’s latest robot buddy is the cool, compact Automower 305.
The Automower 305 is the company’s third generation of robotic mowers. However, it’s one of the smallest, designed to do gardens and lawns up to 5,300 square feet. It’s also green in more than one sense of the word, using less power than a light bulb.
That’s because the mower runs on a rechargeable Li-lon battery. The sort of power means that you should be able to enjoy a nice lawn year-round, without having to get your fingers dirty.
Speaking of those fingers, you shouldn’t have to worry about neighbors with “sticky” fingers and lawn envy. All Husqvarna robotic mowers feature an Anti Theft
System, with an alarm and personal pin code. So if someone does happen to steal the mower, it will be about as useful as a garden gnome.
Of course, the Husqvarna Automower 305 doesn’t come cheap—or easy. For now, it seems to be a European exclusive, with the price translating into about $2,046.
