Could you be loved? Or at least love Bob Marley-branded electronics?
We are used to seeing the Rastaman’s face emblazoned on T-shirts, college walls and (ahem) paraphernalia worldwide. Now, Marley has his own line of consumer electronics.
The latest in the line is the House of Marley Bag of Rhythm. It’s a boombox that’s constructed from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified, sustainably sourced Birch wood and a cotton bag.
Inside, the bag has two 1-inch tweeters, two 4.5-inch woofers, and an amp. Other features include an aux-in port (cable included) and an iPod/iPhone dock. It runs on D batteries, a 12-volt car adapter or the included 100/240 BAC power adapter.
House of Marley is selling the Bag of Rhythm now, with an MSRP of $349.99. The company says that 5 percent of the company’s profits go to 1Love.org, the Marley family’s foundation to fund “charities and causes focused on youth, planet and peace.”
