Apparently, 3D isn’t going away anytime soon. However, it does seem to be going down in price.
If you’ve been waiting to add 3D into your AV setup, Dell has the perfect deal on an instant 3D theater package. For a limited time, the retailer has a bundle featuring Samsung’s 51-inch PN51D7000 1080p plasma HDTV, a 3D Blu-ray player, and two pairs of 3D glasses. Even better, Dell has all of this for one low price: $1,497.98. That cost is $611 off the list price and also includes free shipping.
That PN51D7000 plasma has a full 1080p HD image, AllShare DLNA networking, SRS TheaterSound, four HDMI inputs, and two USB ports. It also has Samsung’s Smart TV platform, so you can stream web-based content directly to the TV.
If you’re interested in viewing 3D right out of the box, this is the perfect package since it includes the BD-D5500 3D Blu-ray player. This player provides a gateway to Samsung Apps, as well as a way to playback 3D and 2D Blu-rays, DVDs and even CDs.
Last, but certainly not least, Samsung is throwing in two pairs of 3D glasses for an instant 3D experience for you and a friend.
There’s no word on how long Dell will offer up this package, so you probably want to move fast. Also remember that Dell is also offering free shipping on everything included in the bundle.

This seems like an incredibly low price for a great TV. With the advent of Samsung Smart TV, will we be seeing an across-the-board drop in Samsung Prices to help clear out the old and make way for the new?? I love Samsung and would very much like to get a good 3DTV.
