Still using the speakers attached to your TV? That’s probably annoying. Even if you have the most high-tech HDTV, those speakers usually suck some of the fun out of the experience. That’s probably why so many people are adding in soundbars.
A soundbar is an easy, compact way to boost sound for your everyday TV viewing. Today, it’s also pretty affordable. We found Paul’s TV selling the Panasonic SC-HTB350 Soundbar and Wireless Subwoofer package for just $199.99. This is $100 off the list price, and also includes free shipping.
The 3-piece package includes the soundbar, a wireless subwoofer, and a small box that links the two. That soundbar can be placed right under your flat-panel TV—or you can actually split it in half. No power tools are necessary; just remove the hardware in the center and you have the option to place two individual speakers vertically.
Other features on this compact set include Clear Mode Dialog for natural sound, an anti-jitter digital amp, Audio Channel Return (ARC), and a total of 240 watts. Another nifty feature is that the SC-HTB350 has Bluetooth support, so you can stream music from your compatible smartphone or tablet right to the sound system, without wires or dongles.
It doesn’t have any HDMI options, but the Panasonic SC-HTB350 does include an RCA input and two optical inputs. It also supports Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Digital and DTS audio processing formats.
If you’re looking for an easy way to pump up the volume (literally) of the TV in your living room, bedroom, basement, or anywhere else in the house, this is a deal you’ll want to check out. Enjoy!
