November 01, 2012 by EH Staff

If you were too busy eating candy yesterday, you may have missed Woot’s one-day deal on Energy’s five-piece speaker setup. However, it’s a new day and we have a new speaker deal—and this one adds in a few extra pieces for those wanting a larger setup.

We found Newegg selling the Onkyo SKS-HT540 7.1-Channel Speaker System for just $199.99. This offer is $150 off the manufacturer’s $349.99 list price, and it even includes free shipping. However, to get that price, you’re going to have to use the coupon code EMCJJNJ88 during your checkout process.

The SKS-HT540 package includes two front speakers, four surround speakers, a center channel and a subwoofer. Each of the speakers boast 130 watts of output, with the fronts and center packing in two 5-inch woofers with the original OMF (Onkyo Micro Fiber) diaphragm technology. The powered subwoofer can crank 230 watts, with a 10-inch cone.

If you ever thought that a 7.1 setup was too much of an initial investment, today is your day! Just make sure to use the above coupon code to get the absolute lowest price. Also know that the coupon is good through November 7, 2012, or whenever the retailer runs out of stock. Enjoy!
