Who knew that Dell could be such great place for TV discounts? We’ve seen Dell.com feature some pretty phenomenal TV deals recently, and today is no exception.
The company’s online store has Mitsubishi’s 73-inch WD-73C11 1080p 3D DLP HDTV at a discount. The set normally sells for $2,099.99. However, Dell has an instant $700 discount and our friends at LogicBUY say that the coupon code 4KR71PW7CPPMWL will score you another $400 off. That brings the price all the way down to $999.99, which even includes free shipping!
The WD-73C11 promises a full 1080p HD image in both 2D and 3D. Of course, to do the 3D, you’re going to need Mitsubishi’s 3D Glasses & Emitter Kit. Other features include the 120Hz sub-frame rate, a 6-color processor, a game mode, and HDMI-PC support. It also has plenty of options to add in other components, via three HDMI inputs, two component/composite inputs, and more.
According to LogicBUY, that coupon code is only good through March 8, 2012, so you’d better buy soon!
I have the 60 in. version of this TV and it has a terrific picture. Everyone is all hung up on LCD/LED or Plasmas, but the DLPs actually have the best picture and truest blacks of the lot. And, as you can see, the prices are remarkably inexpensive. This is a SMOKIN’ deal on a greta TV!!

Should TV manufacturers offer dumbed-down TVs that focus on image quality rather than apps?
Centralized home control and automation plus boatload of A/V options including dropdown theater screen revitalize 12K-square-foot home.

Say hello to home control in this high-tech palace, circa 2006.
Note that this TV weighs 96 lbs and is >17” deep (not a thin TV). The front only picture is a little misleading.
