If you’re familiar with speakers at all, you probably know the name Mirage. The manufacturer is extremely well known in AV circles. Yes, they are known for making some quality products. They’re also known for making some pricey products. Good speakers don’t come cheap!
Well, they do today. We found Crutchfield selling the Mirage Nanosat 5.1 Speaker System for just $399.99. The list price on this set is $799.99 and Crutchfield normally sells them for $579.99, making this a very good bargain. That discounted price also includes free shipping.
The Nanosat packs in a lot of power for its size, too. Mirage’s set includes five compact speakers designed to deliver sound in an immersive 360-degree pattern. All five have a 2.75-inch titanium deposit polypropylene cone woofer and a 0.75-inch pure titanium hybrid tweeter. Designed to handle up to 100 watts, the speakers also feature a frequency response of 110-20,000 Hz (±3dB) and a sensitivity rating of 87 dB. Mirage also includes all of the brackets needed to mount these suckers around the room.
This purchase also includes the Nanosat S8 subwoofer. Featuring an 8-inch down-firing woofer with Ribbed Elliptical Surround and a 75-watt RMS amplifier, this compact unit is a perfect way to round out the package—and your audio setup.
As you can tell by the reviews on this set’s product page, this is a good little speaker package—and now it’s a bargain, too. However, that offer should only be available for a limited time. There’s currently no word on how long Crutchfield will offer this set at this price, so you’d better snag one before they run out of stock.
