It’s hard to remember Blu-ray players being so pricey. While some of you probably have one of those first Blu-ray players in your home somewhere, it could be time to add a second—at a much more affordable price, of course.
Today, Buy.com has LG’s BD650 3D Blu-ray player listed for just $108.99. This price is $191 off the product’s list price and even includes free shipping right to your front door.
This kind of deal is just what you need to add Blu-ray into a second room, or 3D capabilities into a budding 3D home theater. This player supports 3D and 2D Blu-rays, and can upconvert your standard-def DVDs. It even plays CDs when you want to take a musical break from the TV.
If you don’t have enough physical media to keep this player busy, it also has a wealth of entertainment built right in. Those goodies will come via LG’s Smart TV Access, which allows users to stream a ton of movies, TV shows, music tracks, and other apps right from the included remote.
The BD650 does not have built-in Wi-Fi, but that can be added with an adapter. Other features on this player include DLNA support, DTS-HD Master Audio Essentials and Dolby Digital Plus decoding, and a USB port.
