It’s hard to believe how affordable 3D TVs have become over the past year. Newegg is hoping to entice potential viewers by knocking down the price even more.

We found LG’s 50-inch 50PZ950 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV listed on the site for just $849. This is $550 off the list price of this HDTV, and even includes free shipping right to your door.

It also includes pretty much all of the bells and whistles you’d want in a new TV. Besides the 3D support, the 50PZ950 also has a 1080p 2D image, THX 3D certification, and LG’s TruBlack filter. Another very nice feature is LG’s Smart TV platform. This on-screen perk delivers instant access to services like Netflix, VUDU,, YouTube, Hulu Plus, and plenty of other web-based apps.

The set does not come with 3D glasses, but it does have the Magic Motion remote, which delivers cool control through your movements and just five buttons.

Also, if you’re looking to add some of your own AV components into the mix with this HDTV, the 50PZ950 has four HDMI inputs and two USB ports. That should be plenty for now!

Just remember that Newegg is offering free shipping with this purchase, so you don’t have to worry about adding that to the cost. One thing you should worry about is when Newegg is planning to pull the deal. There’s no word on that, but we’re guessing that the retailer may sell out of stock first.
