Earlier this summer, Woot was selling the Klipsch Quintet 5-Piece Speaker System for $299.99. If you weren’t able to take advantage of that offer, your sloth is about to pay off.
Woot currently has the same system posted for a lot less. For today only, the retailer has this 5-piece speaker setup for a mere $189.99. That’s 68 percent off the set’s $599.99 list price. Just make sure to factor in an extra five bucks for shipping.
The Quintet package includes four glossy black speakers, as well as a center channel. All you need to do is add in a Klipsch subwoofer to make a complete home theater setup. Each of these speakers has Klipsch’s Horn technology and the XT Micro-Tractix Horn tweeter.
Other features include a frequency response of 120Hz to 23kHz, power handling of 50 watts, and a crossover frequency of 3700Hz. Those numbers change to 125Hz to 23kHz, 75 watts, and 3100Hz for the center channel. For added convenience, the speakers have a combination swivel-base and wall mounts are included inside the package.
It’s a nice little package at a great price. And don’t worry about that dropping again anytime soon. This is a real steal, and the cheapest we’ve ever seen this set—new anyway. Just don’t be on the fence for too long; this offer ends today (Wednesday, August 1, 2012) or whenever Woot runs out of stock!
