Hot Deal: Denon AVR-1312 5.1 3D Home Theater Receiver: $153 is slashing 38 percent off the cost of Denon's 3D-enabled AVR.
April 24, 2012 by EH Staff

An AV receiver isn’t exactly the flashiest piece of the home theater puzzle, but it’s probably the most important. Designed to be a hub for all of your AV components, it’s where the audio and the video meet—and often get a nice little boost from the AVR’s processing.

Buying a receiver isn’t easy or cheap, but it can be both with today’s hot deal. has the Denon AVR-1312 5.1-channel receiver listed for just $153.76. The receiver normally lists for $248, meaning that you’ll save 38 percent on this purchase. That’s a nice chunk of change, but to make it even… well, chunkier… is also throwing in free shipping on this purchase.

The AVR-1312 has a lot of the AV goodies you’d need for today’s home theater setup. It can handle all of your 3D (and 2D!) content with four HDMI 1.4a inputs and has support for audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. Other features on this 5.1-channel receiver include 75 watts per channel, Deep Color and x.v.Color support, 3D pass-through, and a front-side stereo mini jack that can accept any portable audio player or Denon Networked Control Dock (sold separately).

Remember that the above deal does include free shipping with the price. There’s no word on how long will discount this receiver, so you’re going to want to buy it soon. For now, we’re guessing that the price will be good until the retailer runs out of stock.
