Still having that pesky networking problem? You know the one—where you don’t have any web access in certain areas of the house? Powerline technology puts networking anywhere you have an electrical outlet.
It’s not an expensive setup, either—at least not today. We found 1SaleADay selling the Belkin Gigabit Powerline HD Starter Kit through eBay for just $54.99. This is $95 off the list price, so you could two of these into the home for close to the price of one!
Two aren’t really needed, though, since this is so easy to set up anywhere. Just connect one adapter to your existing home router and plug it into a wall outlet. Then you put a second adapter in any room in need of web access. Use it to connect computers, gaming consoles or an AV system.
Belkin says that this setup provides up to 1,000Mbps transfer rates. Also, the Gigabit Powerline features built-in power protection, so you won’t have to worry about getting zapped from surges and spikes.
This purchase also includes free shipping. Just know that you can’t buy this product through the 1SaleADay website. The retailer is only offering it through eBay right now, so you’re going to need an eBay account. There’s no word on how long this auction will last, but the listing says there are “limited quantities” available with 103 sold at last peek.
