HomeSeer has joined Savant and Crestron as the first home control manufacturers to announce iPad apps.

The HSTouchPad App is a customizable GUI for HomeSeer automation systems. It will work with in-wall and standalone touchscreens, tablets, and wireless handheld devices. HomeSeer already has iPhone and iPod Touch versions of the app.

The HSTouchPad is IP-enabled and can monitor and control remote HomeSeer installations.

HSTouchPad also has a built-in RSS feed for access to weather, news, sports, and more to keep you up-to-date when you’re headed out the door in the morning.

The HSTouchPad App is available now in the App Store for free.
