The HomeTroller family just keeps getting larger. HomeSeer just announced the new HomeTroller-SE home automation controller. The small but mighty little gateway offers remote control via Apple and Android smartphones, tablet PCs and other devices.

The HomeTroller-SE supports Z-Wave, as well as voice control. The system also has the capability to issue alerts, announcements and reminders by email, text message or by voice (text to speech). Other interfaces are available for use with lighting, temperature controls, security, telephone, audio/video, and energy management hardware.

HomeSeer has the device listed at $499.95. Buy it now, and HomeSeer says that the HomeTroller-SE will start shipping next month.
