HomeLogic Mobile Control for iPhone/iPod touch
Another day, another control company getting cozy with Apple portable devices for use in their own systems.
This time it’s IP-based A/V and control provider HomeLogic, which announced its Mobile Control application that’s free at the iTunes App store for use with iPhone and iPod touch devices.
Without any programming out of the box for standard features, the HomeLogic app will let you use the portable devices to tap into your home’s climate, security, lighting, multiroom A/V, and pool and spa controls.
It’s good with EDGE or 3G networks for all of your remote monitoring of your home. And, of course, it becomes a slick remote control for when you’re actually at home, factoring in all of the other cool apps you’ve already loaded onto your iPhone or touch.
For peace of mind, it’s a convenient and fast way to pull up security camera feeds on your home while you’re away on vacation. Then you can go do cannonballs in the pool.
