Many of you could spend hours gazing at that big, beautiful HDTV—even when the power is off. Some TVs are meant to be marveled and treated like works of art. Of course, there are plenty of people who want to hide that TV when it’s not in use. For those, we have Hidden Vision.

Hidden Vision sells a slew of flat-screen TV mounts designed to transform wall art into a functioning TV, and vice versa.

The company’s most recent model is the Flip-Out series (pictured on the right), which is designed to mount a 30- to 32-inch TV over your bed. So instead of propping up on pillows, the Flip-Out positions the TV at a perfect viewing angle. Of course, you probably don’t want a TV hovering over the bed when you aren’t using it, so the Flip-Out can tuck that TV back in and behind a picture frame when it’s not in use.

The Flip-Out can install any 30- or 32-inch TV up to 4.2 inches thick, using just four adjustable brackets. The mount’s arms and cable covers can be used to conceal wires, or you can fish them inside the wall for a completely stealth look.

Two Flip-Out models are available: There’s the Standard Flip-Out and the Extended Flip-Out, which (of course) extends a little further.

For something a bit larger and beyond the bedroom, there’s the Flip-Around. Designed for the living room, dining room, office, or anywhere else that you want a TV, the Flip-Around flips the mount 180 degrees to reveal a picture frame when the TV isn’t in use. This install is even easier; just bolt the mount to the wall and the four brackets can adjust around screen sizes up to 4.5 inches thick.

Similar to the Flip-Out, the Flip-Around currently houses 30- and 32-inch HDTVs. Hidden Vision plans to offer bigger sizes and motorized options in the near future. For now, however, Hidden Vision mounts start at $395 for the mount, with a cover costing another $195.
