Blue Echo’s hd EZ was selection as one of the Best of Innovations Honorees for CES 2009.
Can’t enjoy “The Dark Knight” because your HDMI cables keep randomly jumping ship? Apparently loose HDMI cables are a problem for some people. Blue Echo Solutions wants to provide an answer via its hd EZ adapter.
This little lock attaches to your A/V component to keep cables in place. Are tripping over cables and knocking them loose that big of a problem? If the back of your cabinet looks like mine (well, sometimes), you probably don’t want to be anywhere near those cables.
However, if you are always tweaking, you could knock a few out or even damage them. This should eliminate both of those issues. Blue Echo says that the device works with “most” HDMI products.
Considering how fussy some are about the prices of cable, the $20 (per pair) price tag could seem steep. Still, the company snagged a Best of Innovations nod for CES 2009. Maybe they got a freebie!
Blue Echo is taking orders for the hd EZ lock now. However, Engadget HD says it won’t ship until next month.
