If you’re thinking about getting HBO just for “Flight of the Conchords,” consider opening your iTunes application.
The network just made its content available to the online download service. Although most shows will be sold for the typical $1.99, it looks like they might be getting one last “milk” out of shows like “The Sopranos,” since those episodes are priced a buck higher.
Reuters says that studios and music companies have been pushing for variable pricing for years. That way they can offer a few bargains—and maybe score a few extra dollars in some cases.
Other HBO shows now available include “Rome,” “The Wire,” “Sex and the City” and “Deadwood.” Despite rumors circulating on the web, I couldn’t find any episodes of the hit “Entourage.” There’s also no “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
Right now, the network will only offer content from its archives, which means you’ll have to wait until a show hits DVD to download. HBO is supposed to make an official announcement, which will hopefully include info about both of those programs.

One is a subsidiary of DTS, with the other looking to gain traction via Indiegogo.
