When the latest in the “Harold & Kumar” saga hits DVD this summer, it will include a new twist not seen in the theatrical version.
Gizmodo is reporting that the DVD release will include a “Dude, Change the Movie!” feature, which will allow viewers to pick and choose from extras and alternate scenes to change the course of the movie. How cool is that?
Would a different direction have changed some of the reviews the movie has received? It’s doubtful, but this feature definitely makes me want to buy it to check it out.
It appears that the feature will be included on both standard and Blu-ray versions of the DVD. Other highlights include a Bush PSA, the usual featurettes, and a bonus digital copy for portable playback.
“Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay” will be available in standard single-disc ($27.95) and two-disc ($34.99) versions, as well as Blu-ray ($39.98), starting July 29.
